Shri. Yashwant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Kodoli has started Yashwant Ayurvedic College in 1989 at Kodoli (Kolhapur). Kodoli is 25 km away from the Historical and famous Kolhapur city in Maharashtra State where Railway Station and airport is available. The college is in Panhala Taluka which is a famous hill station. Kodoli is just 10 K.M. away from National High Way No. 4. The college has recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra, Central Council of Indian Medicine New Delhi, Ministry of AYUSH New Delhi, and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. (Maharashtra State) Presently there is 100 intake capacity for undergraduate Courses i.e. Bachelor of Ayurved Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.). The course is comprised of 4½ Years of Training in Ayurved and allopathic Systems of Medicine along with One Year Internship. Post Graduate Course viz. M.D./ M.S in Ayurved in 15 subjects viz. Rognidan, Agadtantra and Shalakya Tantra is started in 2006, and another 08 subjects viz. Ayurved Samhita, Rachana Sharir, Rasashastra, Swasthavritta, Strirog Prasutitantra, Kaumarbhritya, Kayachikitsa & Shalya Tantra are started in 2010, and Sharir Kriya, Dravyaguna, Panchakarma, Sangyaharana in 2013 also Ph.D. Courses in 5 Subjects. The college and hospital fulfill the norms laid down by C.C.I.M, New Delhi, The College is attached with 268 bedded Ayurvedic hospital which is registered under The Bombay Nursing Homes Registration Act, 1949. having traditional Ayurvedic Treatment facilities i.e. Panchakarma, Ksharsutra, Yoga, etc. alongwith Modern Systems of Medicine Treatment including I.C.U., N.I.C.U., Sonography etc.

It was under the commanding and dynamic leadership of Late Shri Pradeep Yashawant Patil (Baba), "Shri Yashawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal” grew rapidly in a short span of 25 years. The aim was to maintain quality standards in academics and modern technology to be implemented in the institution to impart the best knowledge to the students to reach great heights in the future. He received appreciation from students as well as parents which was an achievement in itself. Now, it’s my duty to carry out the good work started by Late Shri Pradeep Yashwant Patil (Baba). It was his vision to start Ayurvedic College to import the best facilities to the medical fraternity and to the people in the surrounding neighborhood with the best technology in medical service so that we can meet all the global facilities in close vicinity. It’s not only the quality education but we ensure that our students will also impart their knowledge and skills across the globe. We will respect suggestions and constructive ideas from our well-wishers and parents which will be in the interest of the institution. We look forward to our students to be true citizens of India with a high profile in medical standards when they meet the challenges ahead in life.

Hon., Ex-MLA, Late Shri. Yashwant Eknath Patil(Dada) and their colleagues played a pivotal role in the establishment of Yashawant Ayurvedic Mahavidyalay in 1989 with an aim of providing facilities to students belonging to middle-class families. Under the valuable guidance of Late Shri Pradeep Yashwant Patil (Baba), this institute also started the Post Graduation Training & Research Centre in 2006. Since the incorporation of the Mahavidyalaya and attached hospital, both have been successfully run keeping the moral values to serve the human kind with love and affection. Now, the Mahavidyala is taking new steps to meet global standards with the 3rd generation of the Patil family with the young and dynamic Hon. Dr.Jayant Pradeep Patil (Administrator) & by Hon.Shri Vasant Dinakar Patil.(Daji).
